Mapping which endpoints absorb automation traffic helps teams plan concurrency without guessing.

Peak windows expose concentration. Overnight catalogue syncs may hammer three endpoints while twenty others sit idle. Without a throughput map, teams add runners and accidentally multiply pressure on the already hot path.

We usually start with a week of representative traffic, tagged by automation lane. The chart that matters is not total calls—it is calls per endpoint per hour, overlaid with rate-limit headers or known capacity notes from the API owners.
